Damn - I am so fed up with distracted drivers. And what happens to them? A dent or two to their sheet metal. Car's in the shop for a week. That's about it.

I hope it is not inappropriate to ask.

Would you mind telling us about the collision? How fast were you going, did the car turn into you or in front of you causing you to hit him?

Did your injuries happen because you hit the ground and the bike land on you, and or did you slide?

What kind of equipment were you wearing? What would you change about your equipment knowing what you just experienced?

I understand if this is not something you wish share. If you are willing then maybe we can learn from your experience.

Again I am glad you are home and starting to heal.
I'm like you, I need to know all the nitty gritty details so I can learn from someone else's mistakes.

To the OP... heal up quick and get back on that horse.

I'm glad you're not hurt any more than you were and I hope you heal quickly. I hate to see your bike in such a mess. You have one of the coolest two bike signatures on the site. Hope you get another one twice as nice.......if possible, that sure was a beauty.

Hope you heal up fast. Of course we would all like to hear the particulars, but take care of you first. The material things mean nothing, they have a way of working themselves out. Make sure you heal correctly, make sure your loved ones are good, then get back into your "normal" activities as soon as possible.
