For the 2009 model year, Harley-Davidson redesigned the entire touring range. The changes included a new frame, new swingarm, a completely revised engine-mounting system, 17-inch front wheels for all models except the Road King Classic, a 6 US gallons (23 l; 5.0 imp gal) fuel tank, and a 2-1-2 exhaust.

Every thing on the wiki has to be taken with a grain of salt. Not every thing within every subject entry, but it will pay to double-check anything one plans to use from the wiki....
It is a good place to get basic 'starter' info and to discover sources that bear checking.... but it is NOT a reference source; nor an original source.

but if you know something, you can add it.
I did the metric conversion for the displacement ( previous conversion was incorrect) and the note on the front brake drum.
If you have knowledge share it on wikipedia

Mike, I agree. My experience comes from searching and researching information sources and citations for original sources (part of my editing work).
That said, the wiki concept is a wonderful idea and certainly increases the knowledge base of kids coming out of secondary education systems the last 3 or 4 decades.
