Well since it's getting colder and the bikes still kinda new to me. Let the upgrades begin.
To start everything chrome is going black. Started Friday and finished Saturday. It's not powder coating it gloss black epoxy paint. Sanded with 220 then 400. Primed with etching primer and sprayed with rustoleum black appliance epoxy.
The back is done so now it's time to move to the front.
Very sharp, those denim silver SGs look really nice with the chome blacked out. Now when you say everything chrome is going black, you mean everything??

Everything but the motor it's still gonna have chrome for now.
Very clean job you did!! did you put a clear coat once the black epoxy was dry?
From the pics.. you can't tell if you powder coat or paint !!
Thanks lol You just added to my Winter "to do" list !!

No clear coat. Just black epoxy out of the can. This place really got me started on it. I followed the directions of how to paint fork lowers. I can't believe I forgot but I used to paint my Racecars frames and other parts with epoxy. It's pretty tough stuff once it's cured for about a week.
Well got more done today. Painted the floor boards, brake pedal and both heal and toe shifter arms. I'll post pictures tomorrow when they are dry to handle.
