I installed an Arc 125.2 Mini in my 2011 Street Glide and it lasted less than three months. It went out last week while I was on my way to work. The sound started popping then no sound. The green power light still comes on but no sound. I received an RA Label from Arc and mailed it to them TODAY. I'll post what they find.

You could still have it repair by Arc if you send it back to them. It might still be under the warranty, but if not Arc will bill you for the repair. In any case it's better getting it repair then to throw it out. Good luck.

I had an ARC amp and 6-1/2" speakers and they worked great once I got the ground wire taken care of. Come to find out it was the ground had to be wired to the battery as well as the hot. Once that was done, worked like gold thereafter.

There was a guy on here that went by FireCap501 and he was a ARC dist. and that is who I got my stuff from and he took good care of me over the phone on this problem. Maybe try a shout out and see what it gets ya.

just a little update on my situation, after talking to the seller,we agreed to have the amp looked at by an electronics repair shop.the shop found that there was a problem with the preamp circuit.he could repair it for about 75 bucks.he said the cause was more likely caused by normal wear and tear or being dropped or vibrations.the seller agreed to pay the 75 bucks for the repair and appologized for the hassel. Whether or not he sold it knowing it had a problem or not i believe it was dealt with properly.i will be picking it up tomorrow so ill be glad to have the bike back together.

Glad to hear you resolved the issue.. As for running ground to the battery it is a bad idea. Long ground runs, especially to the battery can cause ground loop noise. You should keep grounds as short as possible, Mine is grounded to the frame at the next of the bike, less than a foot from the amplifier...
