Question 16' Ganster apes,but now...

Got the apes on, but bike still in the shop for other stuff. Even though it's too late now, I was wondering if my windscreen is going to fit. It is a quick release set up on a 99 Road King.

Depends on the profile of the bars and how much you do or don't push your bars forward. When I did the 17" Evil Apes, I couldn't use my windshield anymore, it was too uncomfortable with the bars so close.

Just finished putting on my 16" Flyin Apes and the windsheild works fine. I have the bars in line with the front forks for now until I get a little more comfortable with change (used to have beach bars). I will probably end up pushing them forward but still have a fair ammount of room to the windshield. Basically it all depends on how your bars were lined up when installed. Just make sure you dont let the windshield dictate your bars....and post some pictures when you get the bike back. Decided to go with the Flyin Apes but man those Gangsters were pretty awesome too.

Chris, I was torn between the two, I liked them both. They are basicly in a straight line with the forks. With the headlights being changed out I couldn't check today if it will fit but am going to find out in the morning hopefully. If I have more room to push them forward I probably will. will post pics and start a thread of some sort soon.

if it doesn't fit you can always trim in a couple of notches to make room for the bars. it's better than nothing when out on the highway.
