EG Ultra Classic & Apes

I would like to change out my bars to Apes on my 11 Ultra Classic this winter. I really like the looks of the Prime Apes I saw in a post last night but not sure about them on an Ultra "Classic" they are not a classic style... They looked great on the bike I saw them on but with all the extra chrome rails can't envision them on.

I am thinking 12's or 13's depending on the make and the actual measurements as different manufacturers measure different.

I will be pulling the TP for the spring and probably riding without it most of the time but obviously will have the TP on at times so looking for something that fits the bike either way.

Anyway any and all of you out there that have Apes on your Ultra Classics please let me know what you have and if you have pics that would be very helpful. Especially the Prime Apes or similar design.

What did you have to do for wiring/cable/brake line lengths to get that to work?

I think they had to add 6 inches, i had it done at the dealership here in Frederick, Md. i have since added a hi boy seat and the look and ride is so much better for my 6'4" frame. jd

I really like the yaffee and prime apes as well, but I think I would like the classic look on a Ultra. I think Cyclesmiths like mine look better on the Ultra. Primes on a SG. I am not sure why just looks better to me.
