I just want to report on installing the fans on 2013 Ultra limited. It outlines the temps I was seeing before and after installing the fans.

Like everyone else has reported the fans are finally built with the best quality. They look like they should be factory equipment once installed. The install was very easy as I just quickly routed the wires with the intention to reroute them later under the tank. The hardest part is tightening the nut while holding everything in place.

Now for my story with the fans. I have a 2013 Ultra limits I purchased on December 15th and I had about 6300 miles on it when I installed the fans. In the week moving up to the install of the fans I had been taking readings on my heads with a infrared Thermometer. When measuring my heads right beside the spark plug I was getting the following readings. When I got to work and could get into the garage I would get 280 on the front and 340 on the rear. The mornings would be between 30 and 40 degrees. Then when I got home and it takes me about 5 minutes to get off open my gate then get off and close the gate then ride down to the shop and got off unlock the shop open the big door pull the bike in and get it turned around and parked I would get the same readings again right beside the spark plug. The temps ranged in the 50's and 60's. Ambient temp did not seem to matter when it came to low speed and idea heat build up. When on the way home if I got caught in traffic I would have the rear cut out at ever red light. So I got the fans Friday night and installed them. I cranked up the bike and let it idle the ambient temp was 50 degrees. I started checking temps and since the thermal switch is on the front I mainly concentrate on the rear temps since those are the one I was concerned about. When the fans kicked on the first time I rear temp was between 250 and 260 degrees again measured by the spark plug. It cooled down to 210 to 215 degrees and shut down. The heat would build again to between 250 and 260 degrees then the fans would kick in again. That cycle repeated itself never letting the rear getting above 260 degree. So after 10 minutes I turned off the fan switch when it had cooled the rear down to 213 and the fans turned off again. I wanted to see what would happen to the rear temp. With in 3 minutes my rear temps had passed 300 degrees. So I turned the switch on and let the fans cool it back down again. I then let the system work off the thermal switch for another 15 minutes and the rear cylinder never got above 260.

If anyone wants to see these close up and see the difference the fans make and you live in or around the Houston area PM me and I will arrange to meet you and show you just how good these fans are.

Thumbs up Awesome cooling fans

I received my fan kit last Saturday, shipping was fast and the packaging was done with care for the protection of the product, nicely done!! After completeing some honey do's, I got to work on installing these fans. Very simple to install, took less than 20 minutes (didn't let the wife know or there would of been more do's to do). Took bike out for a ride, ambient was around 40-50 degrees so it took a little while for the bike to warm up, darn, that ment a longer ride, lol. Didn't realize they were on until I came up to a light, thats when i heard them. Not too loud, in fact just loud enough to let ya know they're on, can't hear when moving which is great. When I got back home they came on right before I shut the bike down, they ran for a few minutes then shut down, a few minutes later they came back on, again, for a few minutes. Bike did run cooler, being this is a 110" I could really feel the difference when at a light.
Thanks Jason for a great product that does what it says it will do!!

If I understand correctly, the set I bought doesn't have the automatic on off feature?
