I've had Jason's fans on for about a year and added a oil temp gauge this past winter to replace the air temp gauge on my FLT. It's mostly been cool here in spring but I monitor my temps out of curiosity more than worry at this point as Jason's fans proved themselves time and again last summer! I think I posted then the temps I saw through Mastertune monitoring back then. The oil pan temps seem to be lower overall but again, we haven't seen the heat and humidity yet. Just a plug for his excellent looking and functioning units
Mine should be delivered today, I have held off a long time on this but I will be damned if I could find one bad review and my bike is already running warm and its not even hot out!
Fans arrived at my parents house in Oregon today. My dad opened them up and sent me a picture. they look great! Great service, fast shipping, and a great product. Ill install them in about a month when I return from Japan and when I make it up there to pick up a bunch of my stuff!
I have moco's finned bridge bolt covers on my '15 RGS. Will the fans work with it as well or do I need to remove these bridges? Thanks.
The covers will most likely reduce the cooling effect since they block the port that runs through the head and about 1/3 of the fan effort goes through the port. I bought a set of covers just for this purpose, but I just haven't had the chance yet to conduct the test. Some customers use the covers anyway and are still happy with the fans.
