With the current heat wave in the Northeast, I've been riding to work everyday.
Its been anywhere between 96 and 100 degree's on the ride home, with highway and local traffic. Got stuck in stop and go on the NJ parkway Tuesday when it was 100.
As advertised, my bike never went into heat management! Bike ran great, except for the friggin heat coming off it...........LOL
Just wanted to tell you Jason, what a GREAT product!!!!!
I have been leaving the fans run for a few minutes when I get home to help cool off the motor, so I would be very interested in a thermostatic switch when one becomes available
.....the auto switch will be a simple thermostatic switch that will plug inline on the negative side...... It won't be much longer before a suitable switch is found, and again it will be a cheap and simple add........ Also when I use up the toggle switches I have already soldered the pos lead to, the new ones will get a longer lead and make the pigtail coming out of the housing about 2" longer.
Jason
Will this switch be included with future fans, or will it be offered as an additional option to be purchased?

Optional, additional cost, but it won't be much. I can't really commit to a cost yet because I haven't commited to switch, but probably around $25 give or take, I'm not looking to make money on the switch, but I'm not looking to lose on it either, I will make the option as affordable as I can, just like the fans themselves.
Just a update on my Parade Duty on the 4th. The weather was 97 degrees and sunny but did have a little breeze. 45 minutes of idle and blipping the exhaust for the crowd and the heat management system never kicked in the whole time. At the end, one of the bike with oil temp gauge was at 305 degrees and mine with Jasons system was at 270 degrees. I think the riding was hotter on mine, but makes sense with fans blowing heat away from the motor, has to go somewhere. This is on a stock 103 FLHX.
