I have mine mounted ran wire under tank in tray did not hook up to power want to get acc. Plug. I needed a longer wire harness so I made one up nice touch putting extra connectors. Now I have to wait until next week to play with it.
Wanted to report on the install & how the FCS works. It is wired directly to the battery for now. I will be changing that when I get the connector to move the wires to the accessory plug under the seat. I went for a short test ride this afternoon, about 60 miles. I have the Ultra Cool fan assist oil cooler on my bike. The temp. here today is in the mid 80,s. On this particular route I know my oil temp always reaches 225 to 230 degree. 230 is as high as it ever gets with the addition of the oil cooler. Today as I pulled back into the driveway my oil temp was below the 210 mark, aprox. 207 degree. That is very cool for my bike. I say the FCS works as advertised!
So are your fans running all the time or do you cut them off when moving down the road? For some reason I was thinking they would only be effective when stationary, but your post leaves me to believe that you kept them on.

Anytime vehicle speed is below about 50MPH, the system will provide a substantial cooling benefit.

The route I took was not interstate. I rarely got over 50 mph so yes they were on all the time.
