Grettings all,
Not sure if its me or what, but it seems some of my messages aren't going through. I PM everyone who requires an answer or follow up communication. I try to check 1-2 times daily and respond. If you don't hear from me in a reasonable time, use the website contact form, I will respond to you no msatter how you contact me. Anyway, sent 2nd batch to paint this morning but should have them back this weekend for assembly. I also have a good start on batch 3 construction, should be able to turn in when i pick up 2nd batch from paint. Orders are piling up but I am working to accelerate construction, It'll get quicker, I learn little tricks in the shop all the time to improve efficiency, I'm improving tooling and fixtures, and it all adds up to it is getting better. Looking to add custom color options soon, working with paint guy to package a page for it. Doing a test set for black powder screens at another members requst and will probably make that an option also, if it works out well.
Thanks all
Jason

Hi Jason, You are making a nice and high quality product! Quality is key over quantity. I'll take quality any day.....And have no problem waiting. No need to kill yourself. I think most wanting your fans think along the same lines!

Ok all, I tested the fan yesterday in stop and go town traffic and 95f temps...I drove about 10 miles in traffic stopping about every 400 yards for damn traffic lights speeding up to around 35-40 between lights....fan on the whole time, bike never went into eitms where in the past within 3 blocks it would have been dropping the real cylinder in and out...and you could see the heat waves on the ground of air being blasted out of the right side of the motor ....and for comparison I have a flhrc 103, se-255, pcv, power duels, jackpot mufflers........now if I could just get the eitms to kick in at say 225f that would really cool it down......also I don't have any any actual thermometers hooked up to the bike so I just have to go by what I saw and felt.....next week I am going to bring home the infrared camera and take some pics. to post....
...and you could see the heat waves on the ground of air being blasted out of the right side of the motor ....
Did you notice any unusual discomfort on your right leg as a result of this? Not trying to be a smart-a$$, just wondering. I'm getting mine relatively soon now, I think!
I'm in batch #2 so I should be hearing from you soon, but I agree with Rickr01, quality is much more important than quantity, I've been following this thread and waiting for a few months now, I wouldnt be interested if I thought it was going to be a " cheap fix".

Fair enough question. I don't want there to be any misconceptions about this product. Yes you will feel the hot air on your right leg when sitting still, but hot air being blown off the motor will be significantly cooler than heat radiating off the motor at 300F+ without the fan. You can move your leg around enough to get out of the direct hot air stream coming off the engine. It will be an individual "feel" kind of thing, I imagine there will be a few people eventually who claim it is simply intolerable like a cat, but I don't foresee that as the norm. If you are not happy with it for any reason I will offer a refund. There is another character flaw I have identified with the system that I want to address with everyone openly. A weak charging system, or already overloaded charging system poses a challenge; at extended idle if your voltage drops down below 12, the fan motors will slow down enough that they will lose some of their air moving capacity and cooling capability and just stabilize. Not to panic though, this condition only exists if let your bike just sit static and idle for extended periods, if you are in traffic you will keep the RPMs up enough between lights and occasionally blipping the throttle to keep the voltage up above 12. I want you all to be able to make an informed decision, and not just promote only the positive aspects of the system. This is really not a problem but I want you to be aware. Jason
Great reply addressing the situation. For those who have changed out most of the incandescent lighting to LED's, the charging system should be able to handle the load of the new fans.
