Ready to buy and think I found a good deal but need some feedback. 2007 street glide with 19k miles, upgraded rinehart exhaust. No flaws on bike. Its in FL I'm in OH, delivered price to my door is $13k not includeing 6.5% tax I will pay to get plates. I'm looking at $13.9 deivered, OTD including tax. Any concerns about the miles? I always thought this would be considered high milage. What about price? good, average or too much? Thanks for the help
That's not bad, it's the shipping that you're getting murdered on. I paid $450 to have a bike shipped from Mass to Fl. Enclosed trailer delivered in 12 days.
I'd think you could find a similar priced bike up there with less miles for $13k.
General info only:
-Average mileage for a motorcycle is rated at 6000 by the DOT. A 5 yo bike with average miles would have 30K on it. So 19K miles is considered low.
- For an 07 FLHX stock, average Kelly Blue Book for Ohio, retail is $18,000 & trade in is $13,500. The 13,900 deal would be considered as a good deal based on Kelly only.
- Id check Craigslist in your area to get a general baseline
we have seen posts from riders who ordered long distance only to not be satisfied with the purchase.
so there is that.
Mike
I bought my bike sight unseen with 7k miles on it from Milwaukee H-D and it was exactly as explained to me and was in the photos. I'm also in Ohio. I would do it again from that dealer. I'm not sure if I would do it again from another dealer.
