I had to take mine back tp the dealer when it was 3 months old, ground wire was bolted on the frame after paint, they scraped and made good connection no problem since.

I'm thinking simpy a bad batter...and here's why...

I removed it from the bike yesterday and put it on th echarger. Within about 5 hours it was at 100%. I removed the battery from the charger and planned to reinstall on the bike this afternoon. When I went back out I decided to put it back on th echarger to see how it looked now. It was already down to 60% just by sitting (off the bike and no load).

I wonder if they will warranty this.

I'd sway toward the dead cell theory. Heat can affect a battery as much as cold can, if not more...

Battery's are Pro Rated up to 18 months - I'm on my 3rd.

First Battery: was 100% replaced after they found my Stator was bad

Have them do a complete Electrical Test..

Make sure they Disconect the Stator / Voltage Regulator

They can verify both are OK , then when they have the Batterry installed
make sure they do a Load Test.

I had a HD Tender , Then Battery Tender , Now have a Optimate 1

I'm going with a Yusa Battery / Yusa Battery Tender next year

NOTE:

The Rubber Plug where your Wires from Stator to Alternator, look to see if it's leaking Oil...

Every bike I have seen with (2009 up) over 10k Miles has a leak and every Harley Deaership I know is having us simply use Silicon to seal it....
