I just installed jackpot 4" slip-ons on my 2011 ultra limited. Something is leaking where the slip-on connects to the head pipe. Has anyone had this problem? Or is this normal? Thanks for the input.
some use an rtv type sealant, which can help. (orange hi-temp)
But the magic is in the clamps, positioned carefully and tightened to the correct spec.
over tightening can egg shape everything, which is bad ( eggs pipes can be 'rounded" with a die at a muffler shop- or correct size socket and hammer at home)
the torca clamps are considered to be "one use"- I find that if i tighten to the lower end of the range i can reuse a few times.

I guess I will be making a trip to the dealer to pick some new clamps up, I figured I could re-use the stock ones since I only had 4K on the bike. Thanks for the help I will let you know if new clamps fix the problem.
I noticed mine were on loosely after i bought the bike and removed the header to remove the obstruction in the center (cat). I torqued them appropriately. I recommend all fasteners be checked the minute you get it home.
Well I reinstalled everything with the new clamps and everything torqued down according to the service manual specs. I also applied rtv high temp copper sealent. I will start it up tomorrow after work and make sure everything is running correctly. Thanks again for the help, fingers crossed for tomorrow.
