I got the leak behind the rear cyl were the cases meet. Had it since the first 1000 miles.
+1 here. The samething is happening to my '07. I also had an inner primary seal that went bad. That seal was fixed under warranty. All is good now at 35k miles.
Just dropped Stella off for the Brake switch recall and had the tranny leak from the exhaust bracket and an oil cooler line fitting. Warranty work so it's all good...
I had the same Sator plug that goes in the engine case, The fix is a 3rd O ring, The second leak was out of the clutch cable. They fixed both no questions asked. The second was after orginal warrenty & they didn't charge me the 50 bucks for the extended.
Just noticed maybe drop or two of oil from top rear head gasket area. Called service and they said bring her in and they will take care of it as its under warranty. 2010 SG with almost 11k. bummed about the leak but so glad its under warranty.
Reminds me back in middle june or august I was at an evening meet and was walking back to bikes when someone yells out to me hay, is that your SG leaking all over the place. I said heck no, my SG dont leak. As I get a closer look theres a puddle of oil under neath my bike.
Turns out in Florida we have some small bugs called mud dobbbers that build nests and while at work they were building a nest in my trans vent tube and clogged it! Oil was running back up clutch cable and out at the adjuster.
Pulled tube off and cleaned out and no more leak. I paid too damn much money to have her leaking any oil.
My '04 sportster never leaked in 50,000 miles. '09 streetglide leaked from inner primary seal at 16,000 miles. It was fixed under warranty and I was happy. But when the inner primary bearing that goes against the seal went out 4,000 miles later I wondered if it was something they should have caught the first time. But they fixed again under warranty so I'm happy. Just a little hassle to get it fixed and no problem 10,000 miles later
