Oil Leak
Looking to see many Oil Leaks are out there..
2009 FLHTCU - 37k miles I had a oil leak from the Sataor plug that goes in the engine case since 10k miles... I use silicon as recomened by dealer
Warranty too many times..
I hear this is a issue ??

Yeah mine's been dripping for 58 years...of course it does have a total loss oil system so that's to be expected.
and the Trail 90 leaks.
the 88 and 09 H-D's do not leak anywhere, at all, neither did the 95

Had the same leak as the OP fixed under warranty I think it started around 26k, 48k now and no leak. Also had a leak from the bottom by the transmission cover that also holds the muffler bracket, two allen bolts became loose, tightened them and that fixed the problem.

2 oil leaks here on 2006 FLTRI, both same place, transmision main seal. First one at 26,000 and second at 48,000 miles fixed under warranty. I'm like what hell to the service adviser, is this going to happen every 20,000 miles or so and she just shrugs her shoulders.
