Had the same leak as the OP fixed under warranty I think it started around 26k, 48k now and no leak. Also had a leak from the bottom by the transmission cover that also holds the muffler bracket, two allen bolts became loose, tightened them and that fixed the problem.
2 oil leaks here on 2006 FLTRI, both same place, transmision main seal. First one at 26,000 and second at 48,000 miles fixed under warranty. I'm like what hell to the service adviser, is this going to happen every 20,000 miles or so and she just shrugs her shoulders.
