Yes, that is the correct number . I ran the wires outside, no need for longer brake lines or wires if you run outside. These bars our only a couple of iches diffrent from the stock bars, But it made a big diffrence for me.

I put mine in as soon as I could (because I'm tall). No need for longer cables/wires. It WAS the best $50 I ever spent and eliminated the upper back pain I always got after an hour or so on the road.

The book says the RK high bars part #P/N 55954-00 fits 99-01. That must be wrong?

That is the right number, Funny thing is my receipt say hd pullback handle bars!! and i know there not the pullbacks.
