Hi people, I am brand new to your forum and find it a real nice place to get info on Harley bikes etc. I just bought a brand new 2012 street glide for 19K out the door in vivid black with cruise control and 4 point docking and back rest for the wife. I feel I got a great deal. I did check around and this was my best deal. So my question is about aftermarket exhaust, and tuners. and also adding a tour pak down the road. any suggestions? Deals? Or what is the best exhaust to get without being so loud I would get in trouble with it. Thanks!
Welcome to the forum.
Sounds like you got a really nice bike and a great deal to boot.
As for the exhaust I went with Vance and Hines Dresser Duals with Monster Ovals.
From what I've heard they give you a deep rumble without being aboxiously loud.
I also installed a Screamin Eagle Heavy Breather with a Stage 1 download.
I haven't installed the exhuast yet, but I'll post what I think on I'm finished.
Welcome to the forum from Florida.
I suggest you do a lot of searches and reading for exhaust and tuners, very subjective and you will find a lot of different opinions. I have a Dragula 2-1 three step header exhaust, with a Thundermax tuner, and the SE ventilator A/C, whatever you decide get rid of the CAT.
Nice bike. I have the 2012 Denim Black SG. Exhaust is really up to what you want. I like the sounds of Rineharts. I'm thinking about V&H power duals (black) with 4" Rinehart (black) slip ons, Fuelmoto intake, and Power Vision to control my ecm. Everyone will have a different opinion. You will just have to do some searches on the forum and listen to other bikes to find the one you want. Good luck and safe riding.
Everyone's opinion is always different on the accessories you mentioned so I'll stay off that. But I wanted to say you got a SMOKIN deal on that bike!! My buddy got the exact same set up a couple months ago. Same bike, year, color, etc. Ready for this?? His was 28K out the door!! I knew he got raped when he got it. This proves it. :-)

Jeez...19K out the door for a 2012 is the best deal I've heard of yet.
I'll stay away from exhaust, many opinions there.... Get a super tuner, nothing less.
The king tour pack is what I have on my 2011 SG, with LED wrap-around run/brake/turn, liner, lid organizer, and retractable tether on a removeable 4 point dock, color matched. Antenna no more, that's in-fairing. Not cheap, but worth the dime. The razor pack is slick, but with less space, and if you have a tour pack on-board....well, you get the idea.
Exhaust selection is a subjective call. Ask 10 people and you'll get 10 different recommendations. Best thing you can do is listen to as many different pipes as possible before you buy. Use the Search function to check out discussions on pipes. Also, check the videos on YouTube and sound tracks on manufacturers' sites.
