Left the Laughlin River Run a few years back and headed to the Grand Canyon. One of the guys I ride with thought it would be nice to see the sun rise at the canyon. So 7 of us left Bullhead City Arizona in 80 degree weather, we arrived at the Grand Canyon that same evening at 17 degrees. Yes we were all dressed for the 80 degree temp that we left in Bullhead City. Needless to say we all damn near froze, I don't think my fingers thawed for at least 2 days. Next morning we get up to see the sun rise and left headed back to Bullhead City in about 70 degree temp. damn Arizona has it's extremes.

Chuck, you sure do like to toot your own horn about riding in -90 degree weather with 6" of ice on the road. Or riding 100,000 miles per year working a full time job. I for one think you are so full of chit it is coming out of your ears. Does bragging about these lies make you feel better? I really don't think anyone really gives a chit except you and your ego. I'll tell you what, post a video of you riding in 90 below zero weather on your bike with 6" of inch on the road. Hahahahahaha! You crack me up!!!!! I'll bet you are out this weekend doing a little 3,000 mile trip across the Yukon. At least tame the lies down a little bit to make them realistic. Next thing you will tell us is you have rode 1,000,000 in ten years.

ORIGINAL: 211Chuck

Up to that point I rode all year round in Canada, in WINTERpeg
it was normal to have 35 to 45 below zero with 50 or 60 MPH
winds bring it to something like 80 or 90 below zero. I not only
rode my snowmobiles in this weather, I rode my motorcycles
back and forth to work in this weather even with 6 inchs of ice
on the roads and blowing snow. I did this by choice, I had two
cars I just loved riding motorcycles more then driving cars and
I still do today living near Charlotte NC. my car has not turned
a wheel in about 14 months and I have about 70,000 miles on
my motorcyces this year. I haven't put 200 miles on my car in
the last 3 or 4 years.

No bragging or BS as you put it my friend, I've done what I
say I've done and plenty more in my time... 40+ years of
riding and well over 1 million miles rode will give you alot to
talk about when it comes to motorcycles...

The problem with the non riding 21st century motorcycle
owner is guys like them have no clue what (real riding riders)
can and are doing on motorcycles because the 21st century
motorcycle owners are to busy playing Mr. Dress up wannabe
Marlin Brando on a few weekends a year.

There are lots of Mr. Dress up's out there and I don't expect
them living their regular so called normal lives to understand
anything about people who live, eat, breath, sleep and ride
motorcycles 24/7 365 are all about, which is OK" with me and
every other person I know that actually rides their motorcycle
7 days a week 365.

Believe it or not, there are still some Harley riders left out there
that have rode nothing but Harleys their whole life and still ride
every day that put up to or over 100,000 miles a year on their
bikes. Heaven for bid they actually still work on their own bikes too!
Those guys don't/can't relate to motorcycle owners like those Mr.
Dress up's, so I completely understand your dislike and disbelief of
hard core motorcyclests/bikers like these or myself.

The big difference between people like us and people like them is,
they/Mr. Dress up's will go around saying people are full of $H!T
because they haven't done or know how to do something others
have done in their life, disrespecting people they don't even know
or are unable to understand.

So what ever you want to be and or act like is all good with me
my friend, you carry on if you must, if thats what it takes to
make you feel good about yourself ... Just remember one thing,
the way you act tells me and everyone else which one of the
above categories you fit into.....

11 degrees F is the coldest for me this year, but I had a Harley heated jacket liner and Harley heated gloves.

Not trying to start a fight with you Chuck. I was just saying you are full of S*it, plain and simple. Shouldn't you be out riding? Or maybe you are packing for your 20,000 mile winter trip across the frozen bearing sea LMFAO!
