Do yourself a favor, spend a few extra $$$ and get the progressive monotubes, I have them -2", no more nose dive, handle great, and I haven't hit the fender.
2nd the progressive drop easy to install and you can adjust your drop, recently performed on my roadglide with 2in drop with se heavy oil no complaints and if you decide to lower the rear further look into bitchenbagger's website they rework your factory shock to your weight and length you desire from 12in to 10.25in from eye to eye. just sent mine out chose 11in.
i watched the progresive youtube video . looked like a snap but i have a flhrc road king . i wonder how much disasembly of the forks is nessary ? is it still a drop in prosedure with the RK after the headlight and nesel removed ,
who with a roadking has done the progressive drop in lower springs ?
whats involved?
could you post that youtube link? i cant seem to find it. thanks in advance
I'm about to install the drop in lowering kit and it looks like a big pain in the a$$. I did this on a friends Sportster and it was easy compared to my RK.
Isn't there a way of getting the fork springs out so I don't need to take the front end completely apart.
