Looking to trade my low rider for touring bike in very near future.
I used to like Rush exhaust note. I generally like it louder than stock - but not super loud.... but I like a really low pitch exhaust note.
But I just saw they have a new screaming eagle "street legal" option with plates on the exhaust output (not open) - and the sound was much better than I thought, although that was just in a showroom.
I wouldn't buy any slip-on I haven't heard. Your best ticket is to hang out in the dealer parking lot, at a biker bar, or a rally. When you hear a set-up that appeals to you, ask about it.
I have the Screaming Eagle on my Street Glide now. Putting Vance and Hines on this winter. Will make you a heck of a deal on the Screaming Eagle pipes.

That's what I did and my scooter wears Rush.
I did the same.. I waited till I heard what I wanted.. RUSH set up. Very pleased..
I have used Rush on my last 3 Harleys, good fit, finish, performance, sound and waranty backed, If you have an open header(decatted} the 1.75" baffle will give you and deep tone at idle, loud on accell and quiet at hwy cruise speed. The 2" baffle will sound good at idle, loud on accell and good - loud on cruise. If you are running cat's, go up 1/4" on the baffle size do to the muffling and slight restrictive affect of the cat. They are avail in slash cut up/down or tip compatible which are on special with several tip combos. I have these with the slant cut tip which can be rotated to side slash cut, up slash, or down slash and they are billet quality. I really like these and fellow riders give them their thumbs up on sound and looks. Ck prices at our sponsor www.leatherup.com I found mine there with a 10% discount to be the best price I could find. Rush is also a long time forum sponsor. They are American made.

I have them (in my case a 2:1) on my RG and like it alot. The Screamin' Eagle slip-on is mfg. by SuperTrapp so if you go to their web-site you will get all of the info regarding "tuning" your exhaust by adding or subtracting plates.
You also have the option of replacing the closed end cap, with an open end cap.
My wife prefers a quiter ride, so on those 2-up occasions I replace the open with the closed cap. Takes about 5 min. to complete the change over.
The SuperTrapp system is excellent with regards to sound, hp, and torque.
