If it was me I would go straight 120, the power a blower makes is all on the top end where most riders don't go, 2500 to 4000 rpm is where most of us ride unless your racing!
I think this applies more to turbos where exhaust pressure creates the boost, a blower is powered directly off the crank so the boost increases as soon as the rpm comes up. More boost, more power.
I tend not to keep my solo bike(s) very long, thus I could just "unbolt" the Procharger and get rid of the bike. I can't really do that with a 120r; beside the Procharger is over 1k cheaper than the 120r.
Well I would ask Frank about doing a 107 build and Procharging it. Shouldn't cost as much as the 120R Procharged and you'll have an abundance of torque & hp.

I was looking at the dyno sheets Dragos posted. Stock 96" with procharger, 2500 rpm 80 tq, 3500 rpm 87 tq, 4000 rpm 95 tq. No much better than a stage 1 where "most" touring riders ride. Yes it makes big power at 5000 rpm, but really how many of us ride up there on are touring rigs?? Even on the 120r look at the dyno sheet with pro charger in the 2500 - 4000 rpm range, not much difference than a stock 120. I'm not knocking the procharger I think there super cool and make a ton of power, but not where I ride much!

Granted you have to whine the procharged bikes up a little bit, but I think your tune would change if you road one. I would take a procharger bike any day over a big inch engine....having both would be ideal

Hey i'm not knocking them, but 5500 to 6500 rpm is more than winding them up a little LOL! Unless you have a balanced and trued/welded crank how long is the old V-twin going to stand up to that? Bang for the buck for me and most guy's I know and ride with, wouldn't be worth it, but yeah I would love to try one!!

Riding in the cruising RPM range (2k-4k), I had plenty of power if i just rolled on the throttle. I never needed to downshift. I DID downshift because I do like the kick in the *** it gives!!lol...I road mine hard (stock crank, not welded or plugged) and I had no issues what so ever. Granted I have everything torn apart now and a S&S crank (welded, plugged and trued) is going in there, along with a smaller supercharger pulley.

I think you would enjoy riding one..its a different kind of power than most are used to. Harleys are known for their torque, but throwing a procharger on one puts the hp number higher than the torque.

For me, I definitely enjoy the constant pull the higher I rev the bike. JMHO

Steve Happy New Year. I hope to have every thing done for your 107" Threshold blower motor stage 3 in the next 2 weeks or so. I'll let you know.
190/200 hp 107 Rocker is going to be lots of fun............

Forgive my ignorance but, what else would a turbo be driven by besides the exhaust?

nothing but the passing exhaust gasses, hence the "turbo lagg"depending on design a turbo can take a few seconds to "spool up" this is the time it takes for the exhaust gases to get the fan up to speed to start making boost.a blower runs from the crank shaft so boost is more immediate building with rpm.twinn turbos use one smaller turbo that will spool up fast for more immediate but less at rpm boost and the second is more for max boost at higher rpm.
