For long rides I like using the iPhone App called MotionX GPS. It has voice navigation. I enjoy streaming pandora. The voice navigation will speak over the iPod music as well as Pandora. You can even use it to send location messages to family or friends.

I have the Sony DSX-S300BTX installed with the Biketronics kit. This deck streams audio over Bluetooth. I also have the Riders Claw mount for my Droid X.
No wires to the Droid X. The only drawback is no horizontal capability for viewing if you want to use GPS.
