Default Installation tips...Dresser Duals

I have a 2000 RKC and I recently purchased some Vance and Hines turndown Slip-ons and now I am ordering the Dresser Duals to go with them. The dealer wants $166 to install them but I am thinking if it is not too difficult, I could install them myself.

How difficult is the installation and are there any especially complicated steps or tips I should know about?

Thanks.

It is not difficult at all. Read the instructions, turn some wrenches. Getting the stock exhaust off is probably the hardest part. Good project to help you get familiar with your new bike.

Lay everything out on a blanket beside the bike.

Put the heat shields on and pay attention to the direction of the hose clamp heads.

Put it all together loosely on the bike, line up everything and tighten down slowly as you keep everything in place.

Pretty easy install.

Just did this install on my bike.
Very easy.
Just take your time and follow the instructions step by step.

Make sure you clean them before you start up your bike.

Thanks everyone - I am pretty confident now that I can do this myself.
