Been running them in my S&S 107 for almost 4 years with no problems. They reduce the demand for power from the starter or, to put it another way, Harley don't need to fit a bigger starter for 103s. Simple and reliable and if you modify your engine at any time you will be even more glad they are there.

 

Mine have worked fine so far, nice to have just in case on hot days.
