Weird, for some reason my gold membership on JP Cycles tells me that the Commander 2 in the 150/80/16 will not fit my 07 SG.....

I suspect your stock rear tyre was an MU or 140/85, so a 150/80 is not the original size, however you will find it works well and you should have plenty of clearance. I have an '07 rear end in my bike and have used a 150/80 Avon with success.
