Sears Red Jack
This subject comes up a lot around here. Basically this is what it comes down to based on opinions:
45-100 bucks for the red one and a 2X4.
150-180 for the yellow one, no 2X4.
300 bucks for a perfect one, no 2X4.
There are more, but these are the popular ones (I guess).
I got a red one because I know how to use a 2X4...

I have a 06' EG standard and have no problems with a Sears red jack. What's the problem? You push it in from the right side until it touchs the left frame and then pull the bike straight up align it, and then jack it up. It fits under my EG when the bike is level.
OK I know we could talk this to death but I've had both. The sears worked fine on my softail but didn't seem right under my Road Glide. The JSjack fits in the channel under the touring frame and is alot stablier. The wheels are the big differents. The JS can be rolled around with one finger and when it is moved your bike never is jumpy. The sears was a little jerky and I had to hang on to the bike when ever I moved it. I know you can say thats it's 3 times the money but it's 10 times the lift. It's just like with oil and everything else when it comes to my Glide I don't cut any corners!!!!! Rick
Difference between cutting corners and comparing tools... You own gold hammers too? lol JK..

I've got the red Sears jack as well, I took 2 12" long 2x10s screwed them together, then made a short 2x6 "ramp" and screwed it onto the 2x10s made the "ramp" about 12" long as well, plus screwed a 2" board cut 10" long on the end of the 2x10s for a stop. Complicated, not really, but sure makes it easier to stop the bike without running off the end of the 2x10s. It works for me, I can buy lot's of oil, gas, whatever with the leftover money i saved by buying the less expensive jack. My Heritage is up in the air on the jack as I type. And, i feel it's pretty stable as well.
The red sears jack, over time, will not hold up. Bad hardware, bottle jack not repairable or replaceable. People have had a lot of problems with the red jack. Read the very first post. It tells the tale. After a year, if you have problems, oh well. Nice boat anchor. If you are going with a Sears product, get the yellow jack. If you have the green, get the JS jack.
