I have 10 inch wild ones and their height is even with the top of fairing. Examples in pics look more like 12 or 14 inchers. If so, they WILL need longer cables.
Yea, everyone says those are 12 and 14, not 10 & 12....don't know why they don't fix those pics.
My 10's are right at the edge of the fairing, just like others have said.
Thanks for all of the replies. From what I am seeing, most of you agree that stock cables, brake line, and wires can be used with the 10's with some re routing. Looking at signatures of those that replied, It appears that you all have TBW. My bike is an 06, so I have throttle cables.
Anybody out there mount up the 10's on a non TBW bike? Did the stock throttle cables work? Need re routed?
First photo shows the throttle side connector and where i relocated it. Took cutting some of the tiling to free it up some.
Second photo shows the other side and where i relocated that. Little hard to tell I guess, but it's tucked back under the fairing bracket. You can see the lighter below to give you a reference.
3rd is just the whole shot, in case it would help.
Clutch cable I didn't have to do anything with, just pulled it up a bit and it worked fine.
