If I am following you correctly..2 different ***** for 2 different circuits. Mine is 1 for the gloves, and 1 for the liner..

permanent dual controller

Anyone doing this should know that if I had to do it again, the ***** would be inboard a little more. At hard over to the right, the ***** just touch the tank, but after a year I can't see a mark on the tank so must not be much.

I just got heated gear for Xmas and I went with Heatroller wireless controls, you only need to plug in the 1 main plug to the jacket and the control I velcroed to my center console for now until I figure another alternative. I like the idea of a weatherproof plug on the heatshield, that seems about the most logical place for it

I moved my loose connectors to the plastic piece shown here and use the coil 90* cord to plug in to my jacket. One plug in on each side of the seat. And if you're worried about drilling into this plastic, it only cost $4.00 if you screw up

PS plastic piece is on 09 and up models

Got mine on ebay. It was like 7 bux. Works great does not get in the way and unplugs easily if you forget to unplug when getting off. Bought 2 just in case.

What search term did you use to find that right angle plug?

Here's another option. Remote Heat-Troller from Warmnsafe. Remote sender unit tucks away in your heated jacket, controller unit velcro-mounts to your bike. One power wire from your jacket to the bike. That's it.
