From where I live to Sturgis is 1430 miles. When my buddies and I go, we do that in two days. It's mostly flat plains and not much to look at, set the cruise at 75 and we be gone. That's only for Sturgis, otherwise my mileage can vary from 300- 500 day depending on how much two lane roads we ride on and the speed. .
Same here. Two 550 miles days gets me to Sturgis, and they're do-able, but it's only because we wanna get there ASAP. But one of the guys I ride with only goes 65 mph because he has a smaller bike that burns oil if he goes faster, so the days are long. If it's hot, we're pretty fried by the end of the day ...
