Default + Reinhart Customer Service

For what it's worth.... Bought my SG about 90 days ago and had Reinhart 4inch slipons installed. Shortly after I got it noticed a rattle/chirp sound coming from one of the mufflers. E-mailed Reinhart an inquiry. A question or two by them and a few short replies later about baffle rattles and they are sending me a new muffler. Well they showed up and what I thought was only going to be one muffler was a set....surprised!! They never asked for proof of purchase and did not even want the defective pipe back. Have to say that this has been one of the better customer service experiences I have had. Makes me a believer in Reinhart and nice to see they stand behind their product. Just thought I would share a positive experience.

It's good to hear someone was taken care of. I have an '06 Road King, I put the True Duals on prior to picking the bike up from the dealer when it was new. At the 1000 mile service, one of the tips had turned purple...it was replaced. At the time, there was supposively defective paint on the tips that resulted in the discoloration...about 1,000 miles later, the other turned purple. Reinhart said it was due to a lean/over temp condition and wouldn't replace it.

The one that was replaced with 1,000 miles on the bike has stayed as black as the day it was installed.

I bought the extreme true duels in October of 2010, working on the bike this winter and found the exhaust hanger on the tranny snapped into a few pieces. called Rinehart and three days later a new and improved bracket and a hand written apology about how the first bracket was made cheaply was in the box. that's what I call service. I will buy from them again.

I had the same excellent customer service from them. I also bought a set of 4" slip ons and they arrived with the black tips with some scratches on them. Rinehart sent me out a new set in days (free, of course) and followed up with excellent communication. Great company to deal with that really stands behind their products.
