Hey guys, I got my bike used and it already had thundermax with auto tune intalled. After I got it I put a screaming eagle intake on it, the big cone style intake. At first it ran fine and did not throw any errors, but now with the weather a lot colder its throwing a engine lean code according to my dealer. My questions are should weather effect this, it was summer when I installed it? Secondly is anyone in the area that could let me barrow theyre cord and show me how to tune this thing? I got it with no cord and dont have a clue what I need to do to correct the problem. I thought since it had auto tune it would self correct but it hasnt. Thanks BTW its a 2007 road glide
You can also buy a cord at your local Radio Shack and download the software from Thunder max's web site. Once hooked up you will be able to see any Diagnostic codes through the Tmax software.
You can call Zippers in Baltimore MD and they will more than happy to help you with questions. I've been doing some mods and had to download a new map to my T-Max that came on the used bike I bought...the last owner did give me the cable so that wasn't an issue...give them a call.

The best thing you can do now is down load the software and read the manual. http://ssdl1.cachefly.net/SMLIVZippers2011_0_0.zip
It pays to learn how to use a tool before you need it.
TMax is a great tuning tool when used as directed.
Yup, give zippers a call (410 579-2828) they will set you straight. Probably need a different map but they are easy to load and free. I have 4 of them and no problems, imho one of the better tuners.
