i have a question about coasting.
put the bike in neutral
engine off
key on (so you can see your speed)
& just coast down hill on a slight grade keeping your speeds no more than 25/30 mph.
what do you guys think, is it bad on the trany, clutch or anything else?
ive only done this once bout 1 mile. but it was quiet. wind across my ears & tire noise.

hahaha i dont like the bicycle i have, it takes way more effort than just a twist of the wrist

On page 136 of My '08 owners manual There is a caution Which states "Do not coast for long distances with the engine off. The Transmission is properly lubricated only when the engine is running. Coasting long distances can result in transmission damage". That should address Your Concerns.

not the one i was looking for
but if i want to keep ridding this bike i should follow directions.......besides theres a bunch of other directions im not going to follow

In neutral, with engine running, coasting is called "Mexican Overdrive". I'd be skeptical about running dry. Why risk an expensive rebuild? (No offensive intended).
