The top edge of the windshield is lined up to my upper lip, which is a little lower than manufacturer's suggestion, but I have plentiful of clearance to look over the windshield. I am very happy!
I have done a non-scientific experiment by putting my hand at the space on the top of the windshield to see whether there is any wind blowing against at my hand. Below is what I've found:
- At speed below 45 MPH, wind blows against my hand at the position of 2 inches from the top edge of the windshield.
- At speed above 60 MPH, wind blows against my hand about 6 inches from the top edge of the windshield.

With your height, I think you should go with the shield that has the height of 10".
I have also learned that to reduce most of the wind blow into your face, you need to invest is a pair of lower wind deflector (fork mount). Currently cost around $56 plus shipping.
Hope this help
Nick
