Upgrade my brakes Problems Please help

I have upgrade my single piston rear brake and single piston front brakes on my Roadking Classic year1999.

I have mounted 4 pistons in front and rear,and new brake discs from a electra Classic 2002.

After what my eyes can see it look like that the front master cylinder and rear master cylinder is the same on both motorcycles.
But a mecanic once told me that there are a difference.

Can i still use my old front and rear master cylinders????

I am from Denmark,but hope you can understand what i mean.

You would need to find out what the bore of the master cylinders are and also what difference is the size of the pistons in the new callipers
