Default Wheel Chock Mounting Points

Like some help from you all. For those of you with this chock from HF:

http://www.harborfreight.com/motorcy...ock-97841.html

and this lift:

http://www.harborfreight.com/1000-lb...ift-68892.html

I've seen pictures of the location of the chock for mounting, so that's clear. I noticed the chock base has 7 offset mounting holes towards the rear. Here's where I have questions. Since the chock does not come with mounting hardware, what class/size bolts did you get? Did you use all seven mounting holes when you drilled your lift? Also, I'm concerned that the bolts will contact the X part of the cross member support under the lift. I tried doing some measurements but don't have confidence here.

Lastly, I know you are supposed to measure your tire to get the right placement for the tire supports, but there are no guidelines in the instructions. I have a 2011 RKC which has the 130 front tire (16"). I take it I should place a number of washers to shim up the slop in the front and back mounting pins for the chock, and some advice here would be appreciated.

Thanks for your help.
