Hello my bagger friends, I have a Dyna and just scored a set of old 70 something model hard bags off an FL (at least the auction said so). I am going to mount these on my Dyna, but first i need to replace the lock/key set. Is there a place online to just order one? I could use some assistance please.
I considerd a lock smith, but both the locks were locked, and, they were different numbers, so I drilled them out.
I am watching a couple of pairs on ebay right now, 10-20 bucks. Figured if there was a source online that was reasonable I would just buy them and be done with it.
You could simply try your local dealer, if he's been around a while and got old stock. I got new locks with keys from mine not so long ago. Worth asking.

Dealer was no real help, they said to go to a lock smith. I searched eBay and was able to pick up a new set of locks w/keys for 22 bucks. They were right next to the ones with the buy now price of 3x that. Score a bargain for me.
And now for the hard part, how to mount them on a Dyna.
