may go with this ... should work good for me, not sure how it would be on the short so so daily 20 mile to & fro freeway runs though? and an occasional long haul.

se-254e cam Kit
this cam provides great low-end torque along with
good midrange. A good “all-around” cam, the Se-254e
is a good match for a Dyna, Softail or light touring bike
- road KingŽ, Street GlideŽ or road GlideŽ Custom -
when the aggressive rider desires a little more top-end
horsepower. In a 0-60 sprint or 1/4 mile drag race, the
Se-254e-equipped model would pull ahead of an identical
model with a Se-255 cam.

or Wood Knight Prowler TW-555 cam

i have 2012 103 and i'm going with 255 for following reasons:
I do 2 up touring and I pull a trailer and i want low end torque and i've become convinced I'll get that with the SE 255.

and,

I think I can stay in warranty if i use a HD cam versus non HD cam, but wont know for sure until the time comes when i need to actually use the warranty.
I have a great experienced indie who will do the install for me and thus it won't be recorded in the HD service system.

IMHO the Andrews 54H, Woods TW555, or even the Woods TW777 will be a good choice. Call Fuelmoto and bend their ear with what you have in mind. Oh ya, and when you change them do the inner cam bearings also and maybe a better relief spring in the oil pump.

204 a good cam, going with a 777 in my new Ultra though, similar profile to the 204 but lasts slightly longer and comes on slightly earlier, most important is a good tune. A great build with a moderate tune is a waste of money, you wont know how bad your tune is til you get the perfect tune.

54 H also a good cam, early tq too drops off a little early but great for 98% of riding. My Dyna likes it. Another good source is Bean at Big Boyz in addition to Jaime.

imagine a lot of the Tri-Gliders go with the 255 also?

Jamie at Fuel Moto quoted me...
Wood Knight Prowler TW-555 cam install with FM pushrods, and install kit and a full dyno tune for a little over a grand, just may have to make a road trip when it warms up.

Nope, I know a lot of TG owners , I have one, who replaced their se255s with Woods TW6-6s. now its the TW555 pretty much being preferred.

I installed the 204 in my 07 RK. Wanted mid to higher RPM in creased torque. The nicest outcome was the increased range I got for 4th & 5th gears. No need to upshift so often. Makes riding twisty roads a lot more fun

Any cam is better than the stock cam. They all work well. Each of us is positive our cam is much superior to all the others. Read the info and pick one.
