I agree...and that is a damn decent thing to say.

Good stuff right there.

Great write up. Can't wait for the completed bike (at least driveable cause we all know it will never be done)

Working on a Cragislist deal, if that falls through I'll contact Alan.

Thanks to Spartaman (Greg) for the SG seat. Arrived today.

Got the side covers painted today. I'll post pictures tomorrow. Just the bags and rear fender left to go, then it's all about assembly time.

O.K. so I got some work done on "Cheapskate".
Straight up Synergy green on the lowers.

I've got to say that the lowers took about 45" a piece to sand, a lot of curves and weird shapes to scuff up. A real PITA!!!

Last weekend I got the side covers in Synergy, and figured out the lines.
Then today I laid on some Diamond Black, then put on some 1/8" tape for the bottom black stripe, then some 1/4" tape for the top black stripe.

Then masked them up and sprayed some Brilliant Silver. Then, well uhh,,,hmmm.. I removed the tape and compared to picture, not what I wanted. I forgot the 1/8" silver stripes and the Synergy top panel. Sorry I did not take more pictures, but got frustrated having to spray silver twice and load up Synergy again. But hey it all worked out in the end.

And don't forget there's the S/G seat from Spartaman, thanks dude!!!

There's the flow I was talking about a few pages back. Now when I get the bags painted in Synergy and hung in place I can tape the stripes so the flow from the side covers around and down.

Oh yeah got the lowers in place for a photo.

I think all the parts except the slip on's are now in place, so after I get the bags and rear fender finished it will be time to start bolting everything up. Starting to look like a ride again!!!
