Should be doing some work this Friday & Saturday. Will try to get the bags painted, Python headers installed, Wild Pig's installed, Super Sucker installed, then will be working on rear fender. Should be interesting, I'm thinking about smoothing the fender, using a down light lens, and then adding a tail light holder that mounts to the left rear bag mount. The Saturday before I left for Kingsville, I rebuilt both front calipers and installed Lyndall pads. Still need to rebuild the rear caliper.
im jealous. I know enough to get into trouble but not enough to get out.
Ive been wanting to convert my 99 R6 to inverted forks from an R1 and a new gen swingarm out back. All parts can be had quite easily but the bike is too nice to rip apart right now.
I may aquire parts for the build.... its been my budget bike since.purchase and since my Road King is pretty much 'done' for the most part (read: PAID OFF!!!)
Not sure I'm going to tackle the whole graphic thing again. Straight color is so much simpler. I was going in circles this afternoon trying to lay the stripes out. Hopefully tomorrow they'll all look correct when I untape.....
