Batman, if you are interested PM me your address and I will send you my stock 2007 SG seat? I was going to sell it, but I would rather it go to you: if you want it? I can ship it out next week.

For The Batman;
Check out how the paint scheme flows from front to back on Yellowbird. With all due respect and admiration for your skills, yours seems have no "flow", but rather, a different layout on each piece.

I don't agree with that at all. I do think that the paint job has a flow. It isn't a RG so it's not going to seem the same, but if you look at the fairing, then the tank the paint lines are similar as well as the thickness and colors. I don't think it has to flow off of the batwing to the tank like the roadglide. Not really comparing apples to apples.

I think it will flow from the tank to the side covers to the bags. I'm working off pictures that I took of a couple of 2011 CVO Street Glides. Go back to page 7 and look at the Gold CVO. The front is more of an impact as it comes at you, then it flows as it goes by, I hope....

You are right, comparing the Road Glide to the Ultra was not realistic. Check out the "flow" on the 2012 Ultra CVO.

I've done some custom painting but I don't consider myself a custom painter. I use to paint RC helicopter canopies for several people. The best thing is to use proven products that are know to work well together. The rest is Prep Prep Prep & taking your time and not getting in a hurry. I pretty much used PPG Concept paints. One of the few that would stand up to the fuel these helicopter use. alcohol, 30% nitro and some synthetic 2 stroke oil.

How about a couple examples.

I'm running towards the end of my budget and need to get it on the road. I'm hoping for May 1, taking into account that I'm going to miss two weekends of work. My daughter is going to make me a grandpa for the 1st time around March 27th, and I've got about a 1500 mile drive to get there. So I'm announcing now I'll be on hiatus from March 25th through April 8th.

Anyway I picked up a fuel filter kit from the stealer today, ouch!!! I figured with 47,000 miles I better do it now. I'd hate to fire it up and find out that It won't run it's best because of the filter.

This weekend fairing lowers into Green, and Bags striped and ready. I won't be able to install until the kit I ordered from Drag Specialties arrives to change my Ultra lower bag bars into S/G style.

Besides paint I have the Python headers to put on, Arlen Ness big sucker(unless someone steers me otherwise), a PCIII, and a pair of Wild Pigs(thinking 1.5 baffles unless someone knows better).

Things still up in the air.....
Exhaust - Wild Pig slip ons
Air Filter - Arlen Ness Big Sucker
Brake Pads - Kevlar EBC
Rear fender, thinking 2007 Street Glide filler and extension.
Seat I'd guess a Street Glide.
Still need to keep the Ultra Classic seat around for Friday night when hopefully the wife will ride.

Let me know your thoughts on the above.
The Stock Street Glide seat looks all right, but your *** will hate you after about 45 minutes.
