Like everyone else that has commented on this thread, I too have enjoyed the progress of your scoot. In fact, in the New "Spring P&A Catalog". They are offerning a Green & Galaxy Blk in the Color Shop Core Series. You are ahead of your time!!!
On a lighter note, The Mac 18 y o is the only scotch in the "Scotch Hall of Fame". If you ever get a chance, try the Mac "Cask Strength". No water added and 116.9 proof. Sure to get your motor running.
Keep up the GREAT work and like others have said, one of the best treads on the touring section.
YELLOWBIRD
I'll check out my favorite beverage dealer and see about the Mac "Cask Strength" as you can see the Mac 18 is barely tapped. I reserve it for special occasions along with a bottle of "Pappy VanWinkle.
I'm going to check out the Spring catalog to see how they look!!!
Sunday a.m. headed out to see how the fender looked and spray the undercoating on.
I have used the Evercoat rubberized coating for years and love it.
Well it's still masked up after the undercoating dried, so I might as well mount it up
I'm not sure if you can tell from the picture but it puts down a nice spatter coat right from the can.
Now let's unwrap it and see what it looks like.
And I might as well put on the front wheel and calipers.
Good thing I'm just test fitting and did not bend the locking tabs up, since the calipers are hitting the rear part of the bracket. I'll have to either slide the fender forward or grind about 1/8" to 1/4" off the bottom of the rear mount.
what yr. was it toldled? tires look real good. good luck with it and this one will be fun to watch.
Kroozeabout. p.s. what kind of plan do you have for it?
Wanted to subscribe anyway because Batman is doing a kick-*** job!
But, I couldn't resist...................."toldled"?!?!?!?
