not sure you caught this in the pic that you have of the CVO bike..
but the "silver" on the front fender of the CVO bike is actually brushed sheet metal, not paint.....
just an FYI..
Are you sure...the color on the CVO fairing matches perfectly, and it's ABS. I can't believe H/D would go to that much trouble. Any chance brushed metal is what they call the paint.

Harley used the "Brushed metal" look in some paint schemes but in the CVO pic you can tell it's silver, there are no swirls which were in the brush aluminum paint.
Interesting, I have the same deal. Only it's any project that is a honey do gets a new tool. You can come over and help drink my scotch anytime. Just bring your welding skills with you....
BATMAN,
Like everyone else that has commented on this thread, I too have enjoyed the progress of your scoot. In fact, in the New "Spring P&A Catalog". They are offerning a Green & Galaxy Blk in the Color Shop Core Series. You are ahead of your time!!!
On a lighter note, The Mac 18 y o is the only scotch in the "Scotch Hall of Fame". If you ever get a chance, try the Mac "Cask Strength". No water added and 116.9 proof. Sure to get your motor running.
Keep up the GREAT work and like others have said, one of the best treads on the touring section.
Just got to the end of the thread and can't wait to see how the tins turn out.
Really appreciate the tip on the abs cement. I bought a damaged set of Hogg Chopps for 15 bucks at a swap meet for the winter months that need repaired badly.
Thanks for this thread. Awesome job. Thanks for all the updates.
I am truely jealous of your talents.
After the new garage is built I can start a project of my own. Of course I will have somebody else doing the paint.
Can't wait to see the finished project.
This will certainly give me the encouragement I need to start my own project.
