Was going to ask if you needed my old/new clutch lever/brake lever. I replaced them with crome levers when I bought my new bike. Not sure if they will fit yours but if you can use them let me know I will donate them to the project.

Did you ever get the outer fairing to fit? I do know where there is one that should fit. My buddy picked one up and had it painted black cherry and never used it. i think he had one hundred bucks in it. Just tried to call him and he was not home. let me know if you need it. He was going to put it on an 06 Ultra Classic.

Thinking about how you were using heat to repair the ABS plastic has me thinking....

What would happen if you heated the entire outer fairing, or at least that portion that doesn't match up, and then install and snug down and leave it be while you work on other stuff....letting it cool in place?

Wouldn't hurt to try would it??

A propane torch would get it nice and pliable.

Thinking about that. I've got a heat gun everything is already tight, then use some bar clamps to pull it back into shape. I might borrow the outer from fatmatt to ensure its not the inner causing the problem.
