I'm working from the front of the bike to the rear, so at this point suggestions on the following:
Dash- I don't plan on using the CB and headset so a low profile would be nice.
Seat- I have a friend with a '12 street glide seat no price yet.
Rear fender- Thinking either filler panels or a rear fender cover.(Milwaukee)
Rear turn signals-
Also passing lights or no passing lights. I like the trike style, but I picked up a pair of street glide fronts cheap. I'll have to try it both ways so I may have some stuff for sale myself.
I've got a seat from my 2010 Ultra Classic that's yours for the asking. It's stock, but it's in excellent condition.
Those gauge holes pretty hard to get inside without running? I've got a decent gun, a Devilbiss Plug gun, that I've not even used yet, I'd like to do some custom stuff, but paying for it to be done is just not in the cards.
The gauge hole were a pain in the A$$. I used a Finex FX100, like a mini Sata Jet, dialed the pressure way down, so that I had a round pattern about the size of a quarter, then did all the holes. Then pressured up so that I had about a 4" regular pattern, and sprayed the rest of the inner. I did that for each coat on color and clear.
Did you ever get the outer fairing to fit? I do know where there is one that should fit. My buddy picked one up and had it painted black cherry and never used it. i think he had one hundred bucks in it. Just tried to call him and he was not home. let me know if you need it. He was going to put it on an 06 Ultra Classic.

I always paint the holes first before I hang the piece, that way I can hold it in my hand and turn it where its easiest to get to
Batman, great detail in your work and the play by play. Always good seeing a down bike get a second life. One of the best reading threads on forum in a while, keep the updates coming.
Thanks DJK, There might be a fitment issue. Like the exhaust I think when HD went to the new frame in '09 things changed. I'll check for sure. Thanks
Yup 2008<
and 2009> is the border for a lot of parts like seats, electronics, exhaust, centre stands,
