Correct if your plastic is cracked use a soldering iron to melt/fuse the pieces back together from both sides of the crack. Then scrape, file, or sand the excess melted material away from the seam.

I picked up a set of stock touring bars locally off craigslist for $20. The ones that came on it were only 13" wide at the clamps and would not allow the switch cover to mount properly.

It's a 1973 Challenger 340 that my son and I bought about 5 years ago for $1700. I decided that I went off topic and removed the post and pictures. I'm still a big Mopar fan with a few sitting around waiting to be restored.
