My buddy James Crosby painted his Street Glide that color in '08. It was featured all the time in Hot Bike, and Bagger magazine for different tech articles.
Two weeks ago at the Grand National Roadster Show I saw this. Out of the hundreds of cars I saw, this one ended up being my favorite. I like it because of it's less is more feel. IMHO the whole graffics, powered coated black everything, and contrast (blk/silver) parts trends are everywhere. But it's your bike, not mine....so it's a moot point I suppose.
Nice rod. I still have the yerning to do one, but not the bucks, I'll have to post pictures of my long term project that's on a rotisserie in the booth.
Here's a picture of the Sharpe FX100 detail gun that I have used up to this point. If has been replaced by the FX1000. The tip size is 1.0 and works great for these smaller items and helps conserve paint. The 1.0 tip is really to small for primer. You can open it up all the way, but you really have to move slowly to get a wet spray. I think the new FX1000 is available with a 1.2 tip which would work better for all around work. I just like the 1.0 for the way it atomizes and lays down fine metallics and clear coats.
You can find them online for around $95.00.

When I spray the outer fairing and bags I will probably use my Sata RP2000 Digital with a 1.3 tip. I've had it for 10 or 12 years and it really sprays nice. You could find a used one on eBay for $150 or so.
This coming weekend I hope to install the inner fairing. I stopped by the stealer and picked up some Chrome bezels for the instruments. Ouch, not really a "Cheapskate" kind of price. $15.00 each for the large, and $17.00 each for a pair of smalls. But I think it's a must have.
I'll also finish repair work on the outer fairing (same kind of rash that the inner had.
Really having to build the edge up this part of the outer, there are a lot of coats of ABS formed up by masking tape behind on this part.
Also I'm hoping to have a lowered front fender in hand to start getting ready for paint.
