Frontier Harley in Lincoln had them for the following:
Switch 67854-98 $12.52
Boot 67880-94 $ 2.00
Maybe the on time where the dealer might be cheaper.
Thanks Batman, any special spot on the inner fairing you plan to mount it? and i guess on the right hand side, so we can keep the clutch in if required?
Most bike guys would be shocked at what this airplane stuff costs. Even for Harley owners, this is expensive. Works great, probably a little overkill for this application, but if you have some laying around, why not?

I drilled a hole in about the same area as the real switch on the left side so it looks balanced. I post pictures this weekend.

I've used this stuff before, had a buddy at Duncan Aviation who works on Lear Jet's come over with some to patch up a project a couple of years ago.. The repair is still going strong.

I just read this thread from beginning to end. Never done that before.
Like others have said, I wish I had the skills to build my own like you are doing. Your bike looks awesome, can't wait to see it completed.

Yea, I didn't just use a 6 oz tube for this project. We just finished repairing a CRJ-200 that had both wings cracked, so the sealant was to dome seal the fasteners inside the fuel cell. I was going to use 870, but the 1826 was available, and blacker than 870, so it worked. And FREE!
Ok, back to your regularly scheduled cheap program!
Batman, your fans are waiting. Did you take the day off?
Smoking a two foot stogie? Or fitting your outer fairing? If it's the later, then you're excused.
