I've been searching... and reading... Learning a ton. Thank you to all that offer such great advice and information. I'm brand new to the Modern HD.. owned an old pan head 30 years ago... but Metrics sense then.
A but of background... Bike is brand new to me 2005 Ultra 27,000 miles.. dealer maintained. Bike had a 50 state legal SE 103 Stroker kit #29842-04 installed when new.
Kit includes Stroker crank, Big bore cyl, pistons SE 253 Cams, SE 103 Cyl heads 9:1 compression. it also had a 50 state emissions legal ECM download.
its also had a SE Exhaust upgrade included in the kit.
I ride about 50% 2 up with combined weight of around 420 lbs... and tow a 350 trailer on occasion. I do a combo or local mountains, and long Touring type cruising. I'm not a hot rodder... but I do like to get on it sometimes.
I know there is some improvements to be had here... I'm looking for a good cam upgrade?? Should I go with SE Race tuner or a PCIII?? Is a Dyno tune needed?
My research indicates that the SE 204 would be a good choice... for low end torque.... Opinions on this??
Any other recommendations for my set up? Why?? What makes it good??
Anything else I should have checked or maintence concerns on this bike?
Thank you to all that reply on this. Your advice and experience is appreciated.

I am not familiar with this set up or the ECM's in 2005 but that motor should be enough to get you around pretty good, maybe some head work and cam swap might get more out of it. Bean at Bigboyz is a great source of info and service, a no BS dude, and very close to where you live.
I don't have a 103 but an 88. But the Andrews 21 does pull like a locomotive. I'm a big guy and ride two up frequently and I love the torgue this cam provides. Not bad on the top end either.
