Default Frame Stamping/Etching

So I bought a wrecked FLHX awhile back, have replaced the cosmetic pieces that needed replaced and got it back from the painter. Im now ready to have it inspected by the State Police. Here in Co I have to have the words "Rebuilt from Salvage" stamped in the frame with the letters being 1/4" tall. Does anyone have an idea where or what type of company could stamp it or etch it in for me. I do have a sheet metal stamping set and thought about cutting a piece of sheet metal from home depot or somewhere, stamping that myself, and riveting that to the frame. Not sure if they would accept that in the inspection but hopefully that would work. I also thought about using an engraving tool. Any ideas are appreciated.

go on EBAY and buy an engraving tool and do it yourself. Is there a requirement for the depth of the marking?

Make it as light as possible, that way you can sand it out and re-spray it!

The title is "dirty" there is no need to mark up the vehicle

Doesnt say anything about it:

The applicant shall stamp into the motor vehicle the words "Rebuilt from Salvage", with each letter being not less than one-fourth inch in size, prior to
having a certified VIN inspection completed. Such words should be stamped
in the following locations

Ha, thats actually the stamp set I have. It works well on sheet metal, but harder steel it doesnt do worth a damn on.

I am a certified VIN inspector in Colorado. It must be in the frame as specified. A piece of sheet metal riveted on will not work. Not sure where you are at but if you are near Golden, go to Camp George West and the inspector there used to have several locations in the Golden area that will stamp for a fee.

If you have the Harbor Freight stamp set, it should work on the Harley frame.

Get a holder and a bigger hammer for your HF set or maybe try one of these:
